Mar & Virginia

Two cultures.One table.One adventure.

Mar and Virginia are newlyweds turning two heritages into recipes, routes, and travel advice worth following.

The premise

A shared table, built from two heritages.

Mar grew up with molcajetes and masa. Virginia grew up with dumplings and dim sum. Married now, they cook, travel, and write from the middle of both, and they are building Yum Fun Trips as the record of it.

The people

Newly married. Still figuring it out. Writing it down anyway.

We got married this year and started building a life that runs on two cuisines and two sets of family traditions. Mar's side is Indigenous Hispanic. Virginia's side is Chinese. Neither of us is choosing one over the other, so our table, our itineraries, and this site all run on both.

Yum Fun Trips is where that plays out in public: what we cook, where we go, what we'd actually recommend, and what we'd skip.

"The best trips we've taken started with a question one of our grandmothers would have asked first: have you eaten yet?"

The positioning

We're not looking to be your UGC vendor

We're building Yum Fun Trips as a media brand with a specific point of view: two cultures, one marriage, one shared love of food and travel. We partner with brands who fit that story, not every brand that reaches out.

01 · What we bring

Real production. A defined niche. An audience that trusts the two of us specifically.

Every piece we publish sits inside a heritage we actually live, not a script written for us.

02 · How we work

Full media kit on request.

Audience data, engagement figures, and past collaboration details shared directly, not gated behind a form.

Every partnership fits inside one of those four lanes, so the fit is obvious before we start.
